Description:

Coffre à documents de l'époque de Charles II,
datant de 1660 à 1680 et originaire de la région des lacs en Angleterre.

Il est sculpté des initiales "I.B." et possède un couvercle à double planche bordé d'un moulage,
qui ouvre sur un intérieur vide.
La frise avant est sculptée de quatre paires de têtes de fleurs reliées par des entrelacs de courroies,
autour des initiales "I.B." sculptées au centre.
Le panneau de base est bordé d'une arête chanfreinée..
Bois de chêne sculpté.
